RUSSIA In H1 2014, the St Petersburg quality hotel market saw a 30-pct growth in ADR (up to RUB 4,600) and a 24-pct surgge in RevPar (up to RUB 2,253), compared to H1 2013, according to the latest report by JLL.
HUNGARY Hungary’s central bank (MNB) has found an interesting way to support the country’s recovering real estate market. RUSSIA According to the latest report by JLL, in 2014, the quality hotel market in Moscow has seen a 4-pct drop in occupancy rates (down to 59 pct) and a 1-pct drop in the ADR (now at the level of RUB 6,000). This fall can be attributed to the political turmoil in Ukraine and sanctions put on Russia as a result, the analysts write in the “Moscow Hotel Market” report.
