VF Corporation expands by 23,500 sqm in D8

POLAND The e-commerce sector is generating a combined 10–15 pct. of the total annual demand for modern industrial space, according to BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland’s ‘E-commerce. Slovak industrial market picking up
SLOVAKIA The Slovak industrial and logistics market showed increased activity in Q2 2015, mainly in terms of new leases. The total volume of closed transactions in Q2 2015 reached app. 53,000 sqm. Although the second quarter of last year was more active (by app. 15.5 pct), in comparison to Q1 2015 there has been a 22.5 pct increase in transactional activity.

RUSSIA X5 Retail Group has signed a ten-year lease agreement for a built-to-suit distribution facility in the Freight Village Vorsino logistics complex, which is currently being developed at the border of New Moscow and the Kaluga Region adjacent to the Ermolino airport.
Moscow warehouse vacancies close to crisis levels
RUSSIA The vacancy rate for the Moscow region’s warehouse market rose to 11.2 pct by the end of Q2. The number is only marginally lower than the level registered in 2009, when it reached 11.6 pct, according to a JLL report.
