The key features of the CE industrial property market today are: stability, trust and European standards. Ten years ago, we had a very limited number of real industrial professionals in Central European countries, and experience was only being built up via new projects. Today, we can see many people from the CE region focusing and moving towards Germany and other Western European markets, bringing our practical experience and expertise to the West (typical examples include VGP’s expansion into Germany, and Robert Dobrzycki from Panattoni taking responsibility for the German market as well).

In the last ten years about 15 mln sqm of modern industrial space has been developed in the CE countries, which bears NO comparison to the new supply in Western Europe. Today, the total modern industrial stock in the CE region (sqm) is comparable to the modern stock in Germany (in terms of leaseholds). Ten years ago, market players were concerned about infrastructure, stability, hot spots, financing, etc. Such factors are no longer questioned, and the CE region is considered as a potential location in every single business plan of the key global companies.
