Customers expect ever faster deliveries
We are very pleased that the warehouse sector ended 2019 on a big plus on both the demand and supply side, but it does not give us a chance to rest but rather pushes us to further develop our business. Currently, two clear trends dominate the market. The first is the incredible growth of e-commerce. The fact that customers expect ever faster deliveries for the goods they order online means that we must be careful when we choose our locations – they have to be superbly connected to or even located within the cities they serve. This is also due to the availability of qualified staff. Unemployment is currently at its lowest for the last 25 years and the ageing of the population means that investment is moving to places with access to staff, especially those with good qualifications. With these factors in mind, we have located our projects in such places as the Lubelskie Voivodship, which has 18 universities and is a seat of learning for the region as well as for the centre of Poland. For years, we've been following market trends when developing our portfolio, which has allowed us to double its value over the past two years. We are determined to maintain such growth over the coming months and years.
