PPS comes to Warsaw

POLAND Representatives from Project for Public Spaces, a New York-based public space management organisation, have visited Warsaw.
Elena Madison, vice-president of the organisation, will participate in a workshop as part of a project to revive two Warsaw squares: Mariensztacki Square and the square at ul. Krochmalna 3. Ideas for the development of these spces should be chosen at the workshop. The Na Miejscu foundation is responsible for the project and has brought together residents with Warsaw’s Śródmieście and Wola district authorities. SOHO by Yareal now includes a Maxi Zoo pet store, the Alike Pottery Studio, and the Unroasted coffee store. Under the new agreements, Yareal has leased nearly 500 sqm on the ground floors of the buildings.
