Finarto Investments has appointed Allcon as the general contractor for Park Kaszuby, a new retail park in Wejherowo. The construction site is due to be handed over and work is scheduled to begin in August 2026. The project will offer 13,000 sqm of leasable space, 17 retail units and 324 parking spaces. The park is scheduled to open in November 2027.

Poland Retail stock breaches 14 mln sqm

In the first half of 2026, Poland’s modern retail stock grew by more than 200,000 sqm, bringing the total to over 14 million sqm at the end of June. According to real estate advisory firm Colliers, the number of operating retail schemes rose to 738, while retail density reached 374 sqm per 1,000 residents.

NEPI Rockcastle has acquired MegaPark Barakaldo — one of northern Spain's leading shopping and leisure destinations — from Le Retail Hiper Ondara, part of HLRE Socimi, for EUR 252 mln net.  The deal marks NEPI Rockcastle's entry into Spain and its first investment outside Central and Eastern Europe.

Record-high demand, combined with the lowest level of developer activity in more than a decade, has led to a sharp decline in the availability of modern office space, particularly in the city's central business districts. Bechtel, the project’s general contractor, is taking over management of the construction site from Polskie Elektrownie Jądrowe (PEJ). In Q2 2026, Poland’s retail property market saw a clear upturn in new supply, with 134,500 sqm of space added. According to BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland, retail parks are the main driver of market growth, accounting for the largest share of both newly delivered space and projects under construction. Still too few student beds

The number of beds in Poland's purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) sector grew by 24 pct year on year in the first half of 2026, reaching 17,900 beds. According to the latest report from property consultancy Knight Frank, despite this rapid growth, occupancy remains above 97 pct with supply still struggling to keep pace with rising student demand.

Senate votes to standardise house price reporting

The Polish Senate has passed an amendment to the Act on the Protection of the Rights of Purchasers of Residential Units and Single-Family Homes and to the Developer Guarantee Fund. The new regulations do not change the obligation to publish the prices of homes on investment websites, but introduce a uniform method for submitting this data to the state portal dane.gov.pl.
