A business centre and a four-star hotel should be ready in Q1 2015

RUSSIA A seven-storey business centre with a total area of 21,000 sqm and a four-star hotel are to be developed on a former industrial area in the Moscovskiy district of St Petersburg.

The Badayevskiye Warehouses on Kievskaya street close to Moskovskiy Prospekt and Frunzenskaya metro station are to be enlarged and converted into class ‘B+’ offices. Reconstruction work of the office building is to start in the first quarter of 2014 and should take one year. Only the load-bearing walls will be retained while a new layout and modern utilities are to be implemented. A four-star hotel with 235 rooms and multi-storey parking for 200 vehicles will also be built on the adj

The tenants of the Vilharia office building in Ljubljana have been joined by the Delavska Hranilnica bank while accounting and consulting company LeitnerLeitner has also leased space in the development. The project is now 75 pct commercialised.

Equilibrium 2 awarded WiredScore Platinum certification

Skanska’s Equilibrium 2 building in Bucharest has been awarded the highest-level WiredScore certification for an operational building.

PZU stays in Konstruktorska

Three subsidiaries of PZU Group, one of the largest financial institutions in the CEE region, have extended their leases in Konstruktorska Business Center in Warsaw for another 10 years.

Office sizes growing

Around 40 pct of office building occupiers require employees to work from the office 2 or 3 days per week, while 1 in 8 tenants is planning to expand its office footprint. These are among the key findings of the “What Occupiers Want 2025” report, based on a global survey conducted by the Cushman & Wakefield real estate consultancy company.

Colliers lays out the perfect office

Although many companies have announced the return of employees to the office and are striving to achieve full occupancy, findings from Colliers’ latest survey show that ideal working environments have occupancy rates between 50 pct and 80 pct. This is the range where an office becomes a vibrant workspace, offering ideal conditions for spontaneous collaboration.

Pharma grows in Warsaw’s office scene

The pharmaceutical sector now plays a major role in Warsaw’s office market, according to the 'Zoom in On the Pharma Sector' report by Cushman & Wakefield. Companies from this industry currently occupy app. 172,000 sqm of office space in the city, making them the sixth-largest group of office occupiers in Warsaw in recent years.

VeloBank looks to Sagittarius

VeloBank has decided to lease almost 2,800 sqm of office space in the Sagittarius Business House complex in the centre of Wrocław.

IKEA to set up showroom office in .KTW

The first Ikea dla Firm showroom in Poland is to officially open in the .KTW office building on June 17th. To mark the occasion, a discussion panel is to be held with representatives from the labour and office space markets. Eurobuild is the media patron of the event.

The Bridge opens it gates

The 54,000 sqm Bridge office complex, which has been developed by Ghelamco near the Rondo Daszyńskiego roundabout in Warsaw's Wola-Centrum business district, has been granted an occupancy permit.

Industrial Bank of Korea opens in Warsaw

The Industrial Bank of Korea is moving into 950 sqm of offices on the top, 31st floor of the Warsaw Financial Center.

According to the ‘At a Glance – the Office space market in regional cities Q1 2025’ report published by BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland, tenants remain active and are looking for modern offices, despite a noticeable decrease in the volume of office space delivered.

Large lease renewal in B4B

Revetas Capital has secured a lease extension for over 10,000 sqm in the Bonarka for Business centre in Kraków.

Shell stays on in DOT

Petrochemical giant Shell has renewed its 22,800 sqm lease in the DOT Park office complex in Kraków.
