Sephora stores go increasingly digital

UNITED STATES Cosmetics retailer Sephora is set to introduce a range of digital in-store solutions across its US locations, including a countrywide beacon deployment and an augmented reality app functionality.
Sephora will be using beacons in-stores nationwide to deliver real-time personalized alerts to clients who opt-in. Shoppers will be able receive notifications like birthday alerts, loyalty program updates and new in-store tutorial alerts. Sephora has also created its first augmented reality experience for clients using the Sephora-To-Go mobile app for iPhones.
