A bicycle storage stacking machine has been installed in the Norblin Factory centre in Warsaw, which can hold up to 96 bikes.
The system was created by Spanished based company Ma-Sistemas, which has already installed similar systems in Spain, Switzerland, Singapore, and Israel. Users place their bicycle as well as any other personal belongings in a box which is then locked before descending into a multi-storey storage facility. The process takes less than 15 seconds and retrieving a bicycle is just as quick. Bicycle storage will remain free until the end of May, after which a charge will be introduced in June of 1 PLN
