Nowa Stacja one step away from construction

POLAND ECC Real Estate has obtained a building permit for its Nowa Stacja shopping centre development on ul. Sienkiewicza in Pruszków.
The construction work is to start in Q1 next year and the first few customers will be able to visit the centre in 2017. “The investment process is gaining momentum. This is good news for future customers because the shopping centre will be the first, long-awaited retail and entertainment complex in Pruszków and will feature a broad range of fashion products and services,” says Maciej Krzewiński, the COO of the ECC group. Nowa Stacja will include app. 120 retail and service outlets,

Retail market picks up steam

The retail sector in Poland is showing solid growth, according to the latest 'Review: Retail Market in Poland' report published by BNP Paribas RE. More than 94,000 sqm of modern retail space was added to the market over the second quarter of 2025 with over 60 pct delivered in the form of retail parks. The strongest rebound in retail park development activity is being seen in smaller cities, where relatively low market saturation levels continue to support the expansion of this retail format.

Romania attractive to foreign retailers

Romania’s retail market continues to attract a growing number of international brands, according to data from the Cushman & Wakefield Echinox real estate consultancy company. More than 40 international retailers entered the Romanian market between 2020 and 2025. Scallier to take on five more retail parks

Scallier has obtained the exclusive rights to commercialise five new retail parks  in Toruń, Bydgoszcz, Ruda Śląska, Zabrze, and Darłowo. Construction work on the parks with a total area of 40,000 sqm is to begin at the beginning of 2026 with the work scheduled for completion in the first half of 2027.
