Venezia starts same-day deliveries

POLAND Multichannel footwear retailer Venezia is introducing the same-day delivery service for its online clients.
The service will be provided by X-press Couriers, which specializes in express deliveries, and it will be available to clients from Łódź, Poznań, Katowice (online orders have to be made until 10:30 of a given delivery day) and Warsaw (orders have to be made until 3:30 p.m. at the latest). In all these cases customers will receive their orders between 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. Furthermore, recipients in Warsaw who make their orders until 10:30 will be able to receive their parcels as early as

Czech Republic Mint rezidenční fond buys 306 apartments in Prague

Mint rezidenční fond, which operates in the private rented sector (PRS), has bought 306 new apartments from developer Metrostav Development at the Vysočanský mlýn complex in Prague. The building has 11,500 sqm of floor space. The deal takes Mint’s total number of apartments in the complex to 547, more than half the total number of apartments in the complex.

Poles continue to see apartments as one of the most attractive ways of investing their money, according to Otodom’s ‘Property Market Sentiment Monitor’. The report shows that 57 pct of respondents consider an apartment a good investment, rising to 67 pct among those planning to buy a property from a developer. At the same time, a growing range of instruments allows investors to gain exposure to housing-market financing without buying a property. One such instrument is the mortgage-covered bond, which gives individual investors access to mortgage-market financing.
