Zakopane station to be turned into modern transport hub

POLAND The Polish State Railways (PKP) and the mayor of Zakopane have declared their intention to design, build and operate a transport hub in Zakopane.
The multifunctional transportation centre is to service railway, international and national bus transport as well as city transport. The renovated and modernised station will also include retail and service units as well as a public car park. The historic station buildings are to be adapted for the new hub.
