Reserved debuts in London

POLAND/UK Polish fashion retailer LPP has opened its first Reserved store in London.
The store at 252 Oxford Street has an area of 3,000 sqm. Reserved has also started trading online on the UK market. “London is a truly global city, the European capital of fashion and a window for the world. Every year it is visited by hundreds of millions of tourists. We want to build up the global visibility of Reserved as a brand and of LPP as a company. Our presence on Oxford Street is an important step in this direction,” says Marek Piechocki, the president of the board of LPP.

Atlas Ward appointed as general contractor for the redevelopment of V Tower. The green modernization of the office building at ul. Chmielna in Warsaw has entered its decisive phase. The work began in January and is scheduled to be completed by the end of August.

According to BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland latest report “At a Glance: Modern Retail Market in Poland, Q3 2024”, predictions of the imminent decline of shopping centres in Poland have proven premature. In Q3 2024, the Polish retail market expanded by another 116,000 sqm.

Physical retail dominates

The results of the CBRE European Retail Occupier Survey 2024 suggest the retail sector and regional economy overall approach the end of a challenging period. The study includes responses from over 60 global retailers with a store network of over 130,000 locations, and shows that 71 pct of retailers planning to increase their number of physical stores intend to do so in markets where they are already present.

The Big Gorzów retail park opened a month ahead of schedule. The park was built on an 8 ha site in the north-eastern part of Gorzów Wielkopolski. It will serve 160,000 buyers from the city and the region. On the day of the opening, around 10,000 visitors had visited by 2 pm.
