Skonto Būve builds fire station

LATVIA Skonto Būve has begun construction work on the State Fire and Rescue Service Depot building on Jaunpils street in Riga.
The building will have a useable area of 1, 537 sqm and will include vehicle bays with maintenance workshops, duty shift premises and offices.
The new fire station will provide employees with modern working premises that meet health and safety requirements. Parking facilities as well as bicycle racks will be available to both visitors and employees and the surrounding area will include lawns bushes, trees and shrubs.
The station is also to be connected to Kārļa Ulmaņa Avenue and completion of the project is scheduled for the end of September 2018.
