POLAND Online clothes, footwear and beauty products retailer Zalando has chosen Fiege e-Com North to operate a distribution centre for its Zalando Lounge platform in Olsztynek in northern Poland.

The 130,000 sqm facility is equipped with advanced automation systems, including sorters for individual items for a specific order and an outdoor sorter for directing goods to the correct despatch point. The distribution centre lies off the S51 and S7 expressways. At the end of H1 modern office stock across Poland's regional cities came to 6.75 mln sqm, according to data from Avison Young. New supply came to 2,400 sqm with 200,000 sqm under construction, while demand stood at 387,000 sqm. Quarter on quarter the vacancy rate remained stable at 17.5 pct.

More than 40 international retailers entered the Romanian market between 2020 and 2025. Globally, all these retail chains have total annual revenues exceeding EUR 80 bln, compared with the total estimated Romanian retail market revenue of around EUR 60 bln.

Nemera, a supplier of drug delivery devices, has opened a second manufacturing plant in Szczecin, with an area of 9,000 sqm, doubling its production space.

7R Park Gdańsk IV extended

Work has been completed on the second stage of 7R Park Gdańsk IV in Barniewice. Dekpol Budownictwo was the general contractor.

ID Logistics stays on in Sosnowiec

ID Logistics has extended its lease agreement for 15,500 sqm of warehouse space at Panattoni Park Sosnowiec II. Overall, the developer has now delivered over 250,000 sqm to the logistics operator throughout Poland.

Nextbike consolidates in Prologis Park Warsaw II

Nextbike Polska, a city bikesharing operator, is opening a production centre of almost 8,000 sqm in Prologis Park Warsaw II, combining a high-bay warehouse, a bicycle assembly plant, and a component printing centre.

WKK comes to Łódź

WKK, a supplier of fasteners, has secured over 1,700 sqm of space at MLP Business Park Łódź. The facility is expected to be delivered in mid-September this year.

Work underway on Panattoni Campus Hanover City Centre

Panattoni is constructing its Panattoni Campus Hanover City Centre project with around 104,000 sqm. The anchor tenant is to be cable manufacturer Nexams, which is to move into a BTS building with 6,300 sqm of hall space and over 2,900 sqm of office space.

Garbe builds in Salzgitter

Garbe Industrial has celebrated the topping out of a logistics building on a 51,000 sqm brownfield site in Salzgitter (Lower Saxony). The new building should be ready for occupancy in the fourth quarter of 2025 with a total investment cost of EUR 40 mln.

Raben moves into Brașov

CTP has signed a new lease agreement with Raben Romania, which has taken 1,800 sqm at CTPark Brașov West. With this new space, Raben now operates ten warehouses across Romania and leases a total of 15,000 sqm in CTParks nationwide.

CEE warehousing reaches maturity

The Central and Eastern European industrial and logistics real estate market is entering a new phase of maturity and resilience, according to Colliers’ recent ‘ExCEEding Borders 2025’ report.

P3 signs up DeFelt

DeFelt, a company that specialises in the use of PET felt for acoustics and interior design, has leased around 2,500 sqm in P3 Wrocław City.

Garpa comes to Lüneburg

Garbe Industrial has fully leased its logistics property in Lüneburg (Lower Saxony), which is still under construction. Garden furniture manufacturer Garpa will move into the 20,000 sqm centre on October 1st this year.

LIT grows in Fortress Zabrze

LIT Logistyka Polska, one of the largest tenants at Fortress Logistics Park Zabrze, has decided to lease an additional 5,670 sqm of warehouse space, bringing its total area in the park to over 17,000 sqm, less than a year after launching operations in the complex.

Media Expert comes to MLP Poznań

Media Expert is to occupy over 4,200 sqm in MLP Poznań. Around 4,000 sqm will be warehousing, while 180 sqm will be used as office and social space.
