Shopping with phone in hand

Members of the Z generation and millennials are 1.8 times more likely to use electronic tools to do their shopping. Most frequently, such tools are used in the purchase of electronics and least often in the purchase of food. Around 51 pct of those surveyed stated that they did not require the help of a shop assistant. When such assistance is required such assistants are treated as people with expert knowledge. A total of 49 pct stated that electronic tools made shopping easier. Many stated that it was neither easier nor harder and almost no-one stated that electronic tools made it harder to purchase items.
