New technological systems are to be tested on the premises and special amenities for employees have also been provided. Żabka Polska has moved its head office to the Nowy Rynek office complex to provide better working conditions for its more than 800 employees. The 9,000 sqm of office space now houses the company’s merchandising centre, where innovations developed by the chain are to be tested on an ongoing basis. It also contains a special kitchen for tasting and approving the products sold by the chain will take place. Employees will have access to a canteen and a terrace with a view onto the centre of Poznań.

The building also has almost 80 different spaces for meetings and teamwork, which can be freely arranged. Rooms for silent work and telephone booths for speaking freely on the phone have also been provided. Żabway, a special app developed for Żabka’s employees, can be used to find colleagues or reserve a meeting room. The building also offers 150 bicycle parking spaces and changing rooms with showers as well as charging spaces for electric vehicles.

Nowy Rynek, which has been developed by Skanska, is situated at ul. Stanisława Matyi 8, close to the city’s main railway station and the Poznań International Fair.

“This new, employee-friendly workspace will guarantee more comfortable working conditions and foster creative thinking and innovation, which is especially important to us in terms of our commitment to new technology and developing our product range. The building is located in the very centre of the city, so our employees can be close to their workplace or have convenient public transport links to it,” insists Tomasz Suchański, the CEO of Żabka.
