POLAND Lidl into Homepark Targówek

Lidl is to open a 2,017 sqm store in the Homepark Targówek retail park in Warsaw's Targówek district.

The lease was signed with the owner of the retail park, Pradera European Retail Parks, which was represented by Cushman & Wakefield during the negotiations. The store of budget supermarket brand Lidl will replace the Piotr i Paweł delicatessen supermarket in the centre.

Lidl now has more than 700 stores across Poland.

Homepark Targówek has an area of 74,545 sqm. Its main tenants are Leroy Merlin, Jula, TK Maxx, Sports Direct and Smyk. The property manager of the Homepark retail park network is BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland.
