Construction has begun on a new emergency care unit at Thomayer University Hospital in Prague, officially launched by Prime Minister Andrej Babiš and Health Minister Adam Vojtěch. Poland’s industrial and logistics market entered the second half of 2026 with demand rising and available space continuing to shrink. According to Cushman & Wakefield’s latest MarketBeat report, the vacancy rate fell to 6.6 pct in the second quarter, its lowest level since 2023. Tenants remained active in signing new leases during the first half of the year, while developers continued to take a cautious approach. The value of investment transactions in the logistics sector was also 13 pct higher than a year earlier.
