Focus Estate Fund has extended its lease agreements with Pepco and Deichmann for space in the Galeria Awangarda shopping centre in Bartoszyce. Pepco occupies around 540 sqm, and Deichmann occupies 450 sqm.

Poland Wrocław space up by 9 pct

According to the 'Market in Minutes - Wrocław. Industrial and Logistics Market' report, the city remains one of the key logistics hubs in Central Europe. At the end of 2025, the region's total modern space stock reached 4.59 mln sqm, a 9 pct increase on the previous year.

Poland ULI releases New Urban Poland report

The Urban Land Institute Poland has published the ‘New Urban Poland’. Using 14 projects from Warsaw, Łódź, Poznań, Gdańsk, Gdynia, and Wrocław, the publication demonstrates how former industrial city centre areas have been transformed into places with housing, work, entertainment, restaurants, services, and public space.

Poland Warsaw turns East

For decades, the eastern bank side of Warsaw's has been in the shadow of the rest of the city. According to Cushman & Wakefield's latest report, 'Focus on Warsaw East: The City's Hidden Potential,' the districts on the eastern side of the Vistula are becoming one of the hottest development areas in the city.

Poland Rents rising in Warsaw

The Warsaw office market entered 2026 with a shortage of modern space. Although over 40,000 sqm of new and modernised offices entered the market in the first quarter, according to JLL this was only a short-term boost. In the coming months, the market will experience a near-complete slowdown in new supply, which will further fuel rent rises.

Romania Offices dominate in Romania

The Romanian market recorded a total transaction volume of around EUR 152 mln in the first quarter of 2026, amid investor caution and selective activity, according to a report by Fortim Trusted Advisors, a member of the BNP Paribas Real Estate alliance. The office sector dominated the market, accounting for 89 pct of the total transaction volume.

Latvia Two sales for Eastnine

Eastnine has signed an agreed to sell two properties in Riga, for EUR 38 mln, which corresponds to their book value. The buyer is Indexo Real Estate Fund, managed by Provendi Asset Management.

Geopolitical tensions, a volatile economic environment, constant supply chain disruption, and the march of technology are changing the reasoning behing location decisions. According to JLL, alongside cost efficiency, a second priority has emerged in the commercial real estate market: resilience.

Poland Kasztelania growing bigger

The second stage of the Kasztelania retail park in Chrzanów will open in June. The park first opened in 2020.

Czech Republic Logport and J&T Real Estate buy land in central Prague

A consortium led by JSK Investments and Notino has sold Lusima AD Property, the owner of 3.7 ha on ul. Spojovací, to a joint venture between developers Logport and J&T Real Estate.

Poland Hill International to work on Central Communication Port

The Central Communication Port (CPK) has selected the general contract engineer for the new national airport as part of the Port Polska programme. The winning bid of PLN 1.59 bln was submitted by a consortium led by Hill International.

Poland LPP to open in Tczew

LPP is to open a logistics centre in Tczew entirely devoted to its online sales in Q1 2027.

Poland No more supply this year

In the first quarter of 2026, the Warsaw office market had a low vacancy rate of 9.5%, according to the latest data from CBRE.

Bulgaria Metro to open in Sofia

CTP has signed a long-term agreement with Metro, an international wholesale operator. The tenant will occupy 25,000 sqm of warehouse space at CTPark Sofia West.

Poland Investment maintains positive momentum

2024 saw a return to stability, a trend that persisted throughout 2025 according to the latest figures from Avison Young. The beginning of 2026 saw a strong volume of closed transactions, marking a promising start to the year. Total investment volume increased to over EUR 1 bln, reflecting a strong resurgence in market activity. This positive momentum is expected to continue into 2026, supported by an overall positive Polish real estate market outlook among investors.

Poland Upper One meets its upper limit

The Upper One complex in Warsaw under development by Strabag Real Estate has been topped off. Completion of the wor is scheduled for 2027.

Poland Action to enter Wiślany Square

Dutch discount chain Action has joined the tenants in the Wiślany Square shopping centre under construction in Warsaw's Siekierki district, with a lease of nearly 900 sqm.

Germany GTC refinances German portfolio

GTC has signed a EUR 148.8 mln loan agreement with Berlin Hyp to refinance the bulk of its German residential portfolio and support further capital expenditure in selected assets. The new facility matures in 2031 and replaces the existing loan previously provided by another financing institution, extending the debt maturity profile of the Group and further strengthening its long-term financing structure.
