At the end of Q2 2025, the total modern industrial stock in Hungary came to almost 6 mln sqm according to figures from the Budapest Research Forum. Modern industrial stock in Greater Budapest totalled over 3.8 mln sqm, while the stock of Regional Hungary added up to almost 2 mln sqm.

Romania’s retail market continues to attract a growing number of international brands, according to data from the Cushman & Wakefield Echinox real estate consultancy company. More than 40 international retailers entered the Romanian market between 2020 and 2025. Globally, all these retail chains have total annual revenues exceeding EUR 80 bln, compared with the total estimated Romanian retail market revenue of around EUR 60 bln.
