Budimex rebuilds Gdynia rail

Infrastructure
Budimex is building a railway junction at the Port of Gdynia.
The general contractor is responsible for over 30 pct of all the work involved in the project. On completion, long trains of up to 740m will be served by the port. Budimex is to rebuild the port's railway station as well as the surrounding railway system. Since 2019 Budimex has already laid 8,000 sleepers and 3,000m of track. It has also built 146 pylons for overhead cables and created 50 km of tunnelling for underground cables. Currently work is underway on the tunnel walls under the track and

Poland’s largest independent logistics operator has leased 8,100 sqm of modern warehouse space at the MLP Gorzów Wielkopolski park. The centre was developed on a speculative basis and was fully prepared for immediate occupancy. Strabag to help build Fehmarn tunnel

Strabag has been appointed by DB InfraGO AG to construct several sections of the Fehmarn Sound Crossing, connecting the island of Fehmarn with the German mainland via a 2.2 km tunnel. The tunnel is to replace the existing Fehmarn Sound Bridge. Road traffic will run on four lanes through two tunnel tubes, while a rail line will be routed on two tracks in separate tubes.
