Panattoni has built a 7,650 sqm manufacturing plant for Taiwanese-based Compal Electronics in Czeladź, southern Poland. The factory, now owned by the company, is its first automotive electronics factory in Europe and trial production is set to begin by the end of 2025.
Taiwan plays a key role in the global electronics supply chain, accounting for approximately 60 pct of global chip production, and over 90 pct of the most advanced semiconductors. The country is also recognised as a major production hub for components used in the automotive sector, including systems for electric and autonomous vehicles.
