Poland LCP opens its sixth park of the year

The fully commercialised property comprises nearly 5,500 sqm with nine tenants. M Park Nowa Ruda was acquired at the development stage, along with four other retail parks, from PKB Inwest Budowa. The tenants include: Biedronka (over 1,000 sqm), Martes Sport (880 sqm), Sinsay (650 sqm), Media Expert (640 sqm), Pepco (550 sqm), CCC (500 sqm), Rossmann (471 sqm), Worldbox (448 sqm), and Empik (180 sqm).

M Park Nowa Ruda is in the northern part of the town, next to national road 381. Parking for over 150 vehicles and Electric vehicle chargers are to be installed within the park. Water saving features are also to be introduced, and the park is aiming for a BREEAM rating of at least Very Good, with Eudeco having been appointed as project manager for this purpose.

This year, LCP has already opened retail parks in Zwoleń, Mrągowo, Brzeziny, Szubin, and Ropczyce. Further openings are planned for 2025, including in Trzebiatów, Racibórz, Wrocław, Rokietnica, and Szprotawa.

Retail market picks up steam

The retail sector in Poland is showing solid growth, according to the latest 'Review: Retail Market in Poland' report published by BNP Paribas RE. More than 94,000 sqm of modern retail space was added to the market over the second quarter of 2025 with over 60 pct delivered in the form of retail parks. The strongest rebound in retail park development activity is being seen in smaller cities, where relatively low market saturation levels continue to support the expansion of this retail format.

More than 40 international retailers entered the Romanian market between 2020 and 2025.
