POLAND In 2014 the Polish State Railways (PKP) made PLN 363 mln on the sale of real estate (PLN 203 mln in 2013). PKP also carried out 21 station projects in an investment of PLN 220 mln. It also sold properties on ul. Targowa in Siedlce (PLN 28.7 mln), ul. Toruńska in Gdańsk (PLN 26.2 mln), ul. Głowackiego in Sochaczew (PLN 12.1 mln), ul. Bokserska in Warsaw (PLN 6.7 mln) and a leisure centre in Jachranka for PLN 13.8 mln, among others.

POLAND Vistula and Wólczanka are to open stores (a combined area of 180 sqm) in the Serenada shopping centre in Kraków. Mayland Real Estate, the developer of the mall, has revealed that it is now 60 pct leased.
POLAND Qumak has won a contract with Warbud, the general contractor of Małopolski Park Technologii Informatycznych in Kraków, to install the electrical installations and advanced building automation for the project.

POLAND Warsaw-based general contractor Warbud has started the preparation work on Wrocław 101, the six-storey 5,900 sqm office building that is being developed at ul. Piłsudskiego 101 in Wrocław.
POLAND Kraków-based construction company Aedes has established a new company, AE Development, whose initial capital was provided by Aedes and amounts to PLN 100,000.
POLAND Kalisz-based developer and general contractor FB Antczak has signed a contract on the construction of a new shopping centre in Sandomierz. The project’s investor is Wodrol.

POLAND Two buildings owned by Deka Immobilien in Warsaw have been granted BREEAM-in-Use certificates. Dom Alfa and Dom Beta, which are managed by Knight Frank, have both been awarded ‘Very Good’ ratings for asset and ‘Excellent’ ratings for building management.
POLAND In the last few months of 2014, the Wrocław branch of real estate brokers Kancelaria Brochocki (Brochocki i Biegański Nieruchomości) participated in the sale of a 5,500 sqm building at ul. Walońska 3-5 in the city as well as 950 sqm of offices in a building on ul. Wagonowa. The buyer of the latter was Best Coffee Systems (the exclusive distributor of the Franke espresso machines in Poland).
