Eurobuild Awards 2014: Łódź chosen as most investor-friendly city
For the first time in the five-year history of the Eurobuild Awards, the award was presented for the most investor-friendly city in Poland.

The guests at the Eurobuild Awards Gala 2014 proved to have very big hearts indeed. For the Fundacja Mam Marzenie (‘I Have a Dream’) foundation a total of over PLN 65,800 was raised!

Eurobuild Awards 2014: the public vote
At the Eurobuild Awards Gala 2014, held at the Warsaw Hilton hotel on December 4th, in the electronic public vote those present chose the winners in three categories: Best Architectural Design, the Outstanding Business Achievement of the Year and the Outstanding Non-Business Achievement of the Year.
Globalworth acquires another Bucharest office project
ROMANIA Globalworth Real Estate Investments has bought Nusco Tower, a 23,000 sqm gla office building in Bucharest, for EUR 46 mln. The transaction is scheduled to close in Q2 2015.

Boeing-737 lands in Rio shopping centre
RUSSIA A Boeing-737 Next Generation Full Flight Simulator, similar to those used for training of professional pilots, has been opened in the Rio shopping centre in St Petersburg. The EUR 1.5 mln investment by St Petersburg-based company Dream Areo is expected to repay itself within five years.

POLAND French bakery and restaurant chain Paul has joined the list of tenants occupying Warsaw Financial Center in order to open its first Polish location.

Elster Group to take up 7,000 sqm in Timişoara park
ROMANIA German electric and gas utility provider Elster Rometrics has signed a ten-year lease for 7,000 sqm of industrial/ office space in Globalworth’s Timişoara Airport Park (TAP) located near the Traian Vuia International Airport northeast of the Romanian city of Timişoara.
Tesco renews 126,000 sqm Prologis deals
SLOVAKIA Tesco has renewed its lease deals for the 126,000 sqm of distribution space it takes in two Slovak Prologis parks.

BNP Paribas leases Warsaw Spire space
POLAND BNP Paribas Securities Services has leased 4,000 sqm of office space in the Warsaw Spire office project which is currently being developed in Warsaw’s Wola district by Ghelamco Poland.

POLAND IKEA’s Polish stores have obtained the Green Shop certificate, which is awarded by the Partnership for Environment foundation, achieving the first, top degree under the system.
Wikana sells land for Aria Park estate
POLAND Lublin-based developer Wikana has sold two properties on ul. Koncertowa in Lublin. A new residential estate under the name of Aria Park, which would include 200 apartments in five-storey buildings, was to have been constructed on the 1.5 ha plot. The name of the buyer has not been disclosed.
