WORLD Only 43 pct of the 100 tallest skyscrapers in the world are office buildings. The statistics show that this number has been gradually decreasing since the year 2000, when 85 pct were office towers, according to research by JLL.

POLAND JHM Development is getting ready for starting a number of new residential developments. In the next few months the developer is set to begin projects in Katowice (196 apartments), Rumia (237 apartments) and Łódź (81 houses), just to name a few.
POLAND Awbud has been chosen the general contractor for a Pentair Poland factory, which is set to be built in Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone. The contract is worth a net amount of PLN 28.9 mln.

POLAND Development company Atlas Estates has obtained construction permit for a nearly 165-metre skyscraper on ul. Grzybowska in Warsaw’s Wola district.
RUSSIA The ExpoForum congress and exhibition centre in St Petersburg opened on October 7th, on the day of the IV St Petersburg International Gas Forum.
CEE REGION The investment volume in the CEE region could reach between EUR 6 and 7 bln by the year-end, marking the highest level since the economic downturn, according to research by JLL.
RUSSIA Over 1.5 mln sqm of real estate has been constructed over the first nine months of the year on the territory of New Moscow, according to the website of the Integrated Body for Urban Design Policy and Development of Moscow, which quoted Vladimir Zhidkin the head of Moscow’s department for the development of new territories.
