RUSSIA The Federation Tower skyscraper in Moscow is to be completed by the end of next year, according to Mikhail Smirnov, the general director of Bashnya Federatsiya [Башня Федерация], which is developing the project in the Moscow International Business Center (also known as Moscow-City).

Prague forced to pay Metrostav CZK 4 bln for Blanka
CZECH REPUBLIC The arbitration court in Prague has ruled that the city council must pay Metrostav CZK 2.7 bln (app. EUR 98 mln) for work done on the Blanka tunnel project as well as making gradual payments totalling CZK 1.34 bln for subsequent work, which according to the ruling now has to be completed within five months.

Stable demand on Moscow office market
RUSSIA Total office take-up on the Moscow market in Q1 2014 amounted to 290,000 sqm – app. 40 down y-o-y. Colliers points out, however, that Q1 2013 saw the fruition of deferred demand and higher than usual take-up for the period.
