Best Western strengthens its position in Poland
POLAND The three-star Łysogóry Hotel in Kielce has joined the Best Western chain. Best Western now has 16 hotels in Poland and is the second largest international chain in the country after the Orbis/Accor group.

Too little warehouse space in Moscow
RUSSIA The volume of new deliveries on the Moscow warehouse market in Q3 2012 amounted to 198,000 sqm, according to CBRE – around 100,000 sqm more than in the second quarter of the year.

Ronson counts on better results in Q4
POLAND Ronson Europe has published its financial results for the first three quarters of 2012. Revenue increased to PLN 72.9 mln, up by 19 pct on the PLN 61.3 mln of the same period in the previous year.

POLAND P.A. Nova has posted revenues of app. PLN 108 mln, a net profit of PLN 10.3 mln and an operating profit of PLN 10.8 mln for the first three quarters of the year.
Outlet Park Szczecin opens
POLAND Echo Investment has opened its latest retail project Outlet Park Szczecin. The centre on ul. Struga in the city has a total area of 30,200 sqm, including a leasable area of 24,000 sqm with 130 stores and service centres.
Smyk in Bielany
POLAND A Smyk Megastore is to open in the Bielany retail park in Wrocław, which is owned by Inter IKEA Centre Group.
C&W appointed Agora PM
POLAND Cushman & Wakefield has been appointed property manager of the Agora Bytom shopping centre in Upper Silesia.
Cora opens in Bacău
ROMANIA Cora has today (November 8th) opened a shopping centre in Bacău with a 7,600 sqm Cora hypermarket and a 6,100 sqm shopping gallery for 37 stores, according to local media reports.
Prologis predicts strong growth in Warehouse market
EUROPE European industrial real estate values declined 21.9 pct from the pre-crisis peak in 2007, and have subsequently only recovered by 1.3 pct on average, according to a report by Prologis.

China to finance motorways?
SERBIA The Serbian government is applying for a USD 1.8 bln loan from China’s Exim Bank to support a number of projects including three motorways (Belgrade to Ljig, Pojate to Preljina and Novi Sad to Ruma, Šabac and Loznica) as well as an upgrade to the Kostulac power plant.
