Avans joins Media Expert
POLAND The Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) has approved the takeover of a chain of 300 Avans electronic stores (including franchises) by OpenMedia, a company which belongs to Arkadiusz and Sławomir Tomal.
Work on Adventure World Warsaw begins
POLAND Imtech Polska, the general contractor for Adventure Park Warsaw, has entered the development site. The preparation and excavation work has started on the project, the investor behind which is Adventure World Warsaw Parks&Resort.
Cocor faces foreclosure
ROMANIA BCR plans to foreclose on Cocor and put the Cocor shopping centre in Bucharest up for auction on November the 16th for a starting price of RON 134.9 mln (app. EUR 30 mln).

POLAND In Q3 2012, 56,100 sqm of office space were delivered to the market bringing the total stock up to 3.75 mln sqm, while the vacancy rate increased from 7.4 pct at the end of H1 2012 to 8.1 pct. – according to figures from the Warsaw Research Forum.
