Hilton Garden Inn to come to Toruń
POLAND Hilton has signed a franchise agreement with Satoria subsidiary PPI Polskie Projekty Inwestycyjne, to open the Hilton Garden Inn Torun Old Town hotel with 132 rooms. The hotel will be managed by VHM Hotel.

EA7 makes Russian debut
RUSSIA Emporio Armani owned brand EA7 has entered the Russian market with opening a 200 sqm store in the the Mega Teply Stan shopping centre in Moscow and has become part of the centre’s fashion cluster, which is a 3,000 sqm multibrand department store including international brands such as Karl Lagerfeld, Marc Cain, Liu Jo, Tommy Hilfiger, Hugo Boss and MaxMara Weekend.
Atrium undervalued says Letko
CEE REGION Investment manager Letko Brosseau & Associates has declared its intention to vote against Gazit Globe’s buyout of Atrium European Real Estate, in which it controls a 2.4 pct stake making it the second largest shareholder in the company.

RUSSIA Etalon Group has completed the purhcase of the remaining 49 pct stake in residential developer Leader-Invest from Sistema for RUB 14.6 bln.

RUSSIA Raiffeisenbank has appointed Etalon Group to build a 34,000 sqm office project in the Nagatino I-Land business park outside the third ring road in Southern Moscow.

EUROPE Tallinn based Baltic Horizon Fund has increased its net asset value per unit to EUR 1.3451. As of the end of July the value increased by 0.52 pct m-o-m.

Echo takes over Immofinanz office buildings
POLAND Immofinanz has sold a section of its Empark office development in Warsaw's Służewiec business district to Echo Investment. Prior to the deal, the Austrian investor had drawn up a concept design for a number of the buildings on the 1.17 ha plot to be pulled down to make way for a new residential development.

EUROPE Bilfinger has announced a EUR 6 mln net loss in the second quarter of the year, compared to an EUR 11 mln profit in Q2 2018 despite revenue growing by 8 pct to EUR 1.15 bln compared to EUR 1.06 bln the year before. Adjusted EBITA improved by 47 pct to EUR 17 mln.

Panattoni to start second Bydgoszcz park
POLAND Panattoni Europe is to develop the Panattoni Park Bydgoszcz II industrial complex, around 6 km east from the city’s centre. Construction is to start on the 40,000 sqm park in September. The first units are to be ready in Q1 2020.
