Germany Blitz takes 37,000 sqm
Blitz Distribution has leased around 37,000 sqm of warehouse space and around 1,000 sqm of offices and social space at the Garbe Industrial centre in Werne, North Rhine-Westphalia.

At the end of Q2 2025, the total modern industrial stock in Hungary came to almost 6 mln sqm, according to the Budapest Research Forum. Modern industrial stock in the Greater Budapest surpassed 3.8 mln sqm, while the stock across the regions came to almost 2 mln sqm.

Romania Romania attractive to foreign retailers
Romania’s retail market continues to attract a growing number of international brands, according to data from the Cushman & Wakefield Echinox real estate consultancy company. More than 40 international retailers entered the Romanian market between 2020 and 2025. Globally, all these retail chains have total annual revenues exceeding EUR 80 bln, compared with the total estimated Romanian retail market revenue of around EUR 60 bln.

Crosspoint Real Estate, the international associate of Savills in Romania, brokered office lease transactions totalling over 6,000 sqm in the first half of 2025. These contracts have brought the total value of the office leasing portfolio brokered by Crosspoint to over EUR 45 mln.

CPK has already acquired over 2,000 ha under the Voluntary Acquisition Programme. This means that more than half of the land required for the CPK Airport and the western section of the railway junction has now been acquired.

Romania Construction of U•Center 3 begins
Forte Partners has begun construction work on the office component of U Center 3, following the receipt of the building permit at the end of June 2025. Located on Calea Șerban Vodă in Bucharest, the final residential stage is to begin in 2026.
