Polish Academy of Sciences sells land in Jabłonna
POLAND A 20 ha near the Jabłonna ring road has been put up for sale by the Polish Academy of Sciences. “The academy is not planning to construction any scientific research facilities on the land, so the decision was made to sell,” says Tadeusz Latała, the chancellor of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

POLAND In November 2016, Vastint Poland completed the construction of the first phase of the Business Garden office complex on ul. Legnicka in Wrocław and now the first stage has been issued with an occupancy permit.
Belarusian residential sector slows down
BELARUS “Sixty residential buildings with a combined residential area of 644,000 sqm are to be completed in Minsk this year,” claims Irina Gontaryeva, the head of the Residential Construction Department for the city of Minsk.
Eco-Classic satisfied with results and plans new projects
POLAND Residential developer Eco-Classic sold 281 apartments in 2016, up by around 40 pct on the previous year. Last year it completed nearly 350 new apartments in Warsaw and Gdańsk and started construction work on a further 180 apartments in the Wolne Miasto project in Gdańsk.

POLAND LC Corp has begun work on the third stage of the Centralna Park estate in Czyżyny and has also started apartment sales.
Zing in Jawczyce
POLAND Panattoni is also working on a distribution centre for paper distibutor Zing. The construction has been launched next to the Konotopa junction at Jawczyce (municipality – Ożarów Mazowiecki).

POLAND The design for the Moxy hotel in Pyrzowice has been approved by Marriott International, with work to be launched soon by investor Chopin Airport Development. The selection of the general contractor is currently in progress.

EUROPE TPG Real Estate has completed the purchase of A&O Hotels and Hostels. A&O is a fully integrated, privately-owned, hostel platform in Europe. With the backing of TPG, A&O should be able to expand and enhance its operations on the European market.

POLAND In 2016 Dom Development sold 2,735 apartments, representing a 15 pct increase on the 2,382 apartments sold the previous year. In Q4 the developer sold 717 apartments, a quarterly record.
