LEDs to save bookworms
BELARUS The city of Minsk has begun trials of a pioneering warning system at pedestrian crossings. LED lights have been installed on the curbs that shine in the colour of the main signal. The broken line of light emitting diodes on the pavement is intended to improve safety and complement the existing traffic lights.
