Silesia hotel meets wrecking ball
POLAND Tree Capital has started the demolition of the Silesia hotel on ul. Ks. Piotra Skargi in Katowice on behalf of real estate developer Vastint Poland.

CEE REGION Yit has won seven large traffic infrastructure contracts in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania since the beginning of the year with a combined value of around EUR 53 mln, with around EUR 39 mln to go towards the results for the first quarter.

Warsaw Hub reaches highest point
POLAND The structure of the 85m tower A in the Warsaw Hub office and hotel complex, which is being developed by Ghelamco in the city’s Wola business district, has now been completed. Most of the façade of the building has also been covered. Tower B, in the middle of the complex, is to reach its target height of 130m in the next few weeks, while the topping off of building C should take place in the autumn.

POLAND Budimex has started work on its first contract for Danone –rebuilding and expanding the existing production plant for Żywiec Zdrój bottled water and beverages. The contract is worth is PLN 38.25 mln net.
