POLAND FineTech Construction has started work on renovation of the first few historic buildings of the Bohema - Strefa Praga complex, which is being developed by Okam in Warsaw’s Praga Północ district.
The work on the former Pollena cosmetics plant will involve around 6,500 sqm of the old buildings, including the Kotłownia (boiler house), Glicerynownia (glycerine house) and Warzelnia (brewhouse) buildings. They are to be converted into modern commercial and residential space. The reconstruction of the chimney and the 0.2 ha of grounds around these buildings will also be carried out.
