POLAND At the end of last year PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe signed an agreement for the construction of an rail tunnel to connect Łódź Fabryczna station with the Łódź Kaliska and Łódź Żabieniec stations.

Faster to Gdańsk
POLAND Strabag has finished the construction of an over 11-km section of S7 expressway from Rychnowo to Olsztynek, which is an extension of a previously completed Ostróda South – Rychnowo road with a length of 8.8 km.
Another S19 section completed
POLAND Eurovia Polska and Warbud have completed zn over 6-km section of S19 expressway, which connects two international routes: E40 and E371 and moves transit transport out of the centre of Rzeszów. The contract price was over PLN 342 mln.

POLAND The construction of app. 15-km section of S5 route from Wrocław to Poznań in its section from Korzeńsk (excluding the interchange) to the Widawa interchange has finished.
EU to fund S17
POLAND The EU Transport Projects Centre has agreed to provide a subsidy to the General Directorate of National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) concerning a subsidy for the construction of S17 expressway between Garwolin and Kurów.
