POLAND Echo Investment started the construction of six new projects in Q1. During the same period the company sold 351 units and bought land for construction of more than 75,000 sqm of residential and office space. Its net profit amounted to almost PLN 32 mln.

LPP feeling chuffed with results
POLAND LPP group has registered a 15.7 pct increase in sales to PLN 1.8 bln for Q1 this year. This year the company is targeting online sales in excess of PLN 1 bln with a single online store for the entire EU as well for Ukraine and has plans to debut in Finland.

POLAND VD Invest from the Vantage Development group has finalised the sale of the Delta 44 office building in Wrocław for PLN 28.7 mln.

CZECH REPUBLIC An investment trust fund established by Korean investor Hana Alternative Asset Management and Polish property manager White Star Real Estate has bought the Rustonka office centre in Prague’s Karlín district from J&T Real Estate for an estimated CZK 4.2 bln (app. EUR 163 mln).

SLOVAKIA Yit Slovakia has bought a 3.9 ha plot in the Nivy area of Bratislava. The plot is the site of a former prefabricated concrete factory in the city’s Ružinov district.
Baltic to buy Galerija Centrs
LATVIA The Baltic Horizon Fund, managed by Northern Horizon Capital, has signed a preliminary agreement to buy all the shares of Tampere Invest SIA, which owns the Galerija Centrs shopping centre in Riga’s Old Town from Linstow for EUR 75 mln.
Warimpex sees profits rise
EUROPE Warimpex has regestered a EUR 11.8 mln profit for Q1 2019, which compares to a EUR 3 mln loss in the same period of the previous year. The company attributes the improvement to higher gains on property sales and exchange rate gains.
