Orlen buys 216 MW hybrid renewable energy project in Wielkopolska
Orlen Group has finalised the purchase of a hybrid renewable energy farm project with a total capacity of 216 MW in Kazimierz Biskupi in Wielkopolska. The complex, combining solar and wind power, will generate around 315 Gwh of electricity, meeting the needs of almost 143,000 households.
Over 67k leased at DL Invest Park Bielsko-Biała
In recent months, DL Invest Group has signed lease agreements covering over 67,000 sqm in its DL Invest Park Bielsko-Biała complex. The transactions include long-term contract extensions with existing clients and new agreements with companies in the manufacturing and logistics sectors.

PLN 52 bln developed, but supply not keeping up with demand
July saw a shift in the supply-demand ratio across Poland’s seven largest housing markets. The pool of available developer units fell below the 60,000 threshold, and sales increased by 12 pct y-o-y, while the number of new projects declined significantly.

More than EUR 3 bln was invested in Polish commercial real estate in H1 2026, largely driven by the return of major institutional investors – according to BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland.
Intermodal strengthens Poland’s position on the European logistics map
In the first quarter of 2026, Polish railways transported almost 790,000 TEUs in intermodal transport. This segment's share of total rail transport reached a record 19.2 pct. Further development of services depends on investments in linear and point infrastructure.

The construction of Poland’s first nuclear power plant has reached an important milestone. Bechtel, the project’s general contractor, is taking over management of the construction site from Polskie Elektrownie Jądrowe (PEJ). At the same time, Budimex, one of Poland’s largest construction companies, has begun the earthworks.

In Q2 2026, Poland’s retail property market saw a clear upturn in new supply, with 134,500 sqm of space added. According to BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland, retail parks are the main driver of market growth, accounting for the largest share of both newly delivered space and projects under construction. The sector’s strength is also reflected in rising retail sales figures and the arrival of new international brands.

A manufacturing and industrial sector company has extended its lease for app. 45,500 sqm at the Sosnowiec Distribution Centre. The landlord, CBRE Investment Management, was advised by Cushman & Wakefield during the transaction, while also being supported by Argon Legal.

Grospol, a Polish manufacturer of office chairs and armchairs, has leased over 6,400 sqm of warehouse space at Prologis Park Łódź. The new location will support its production facility in Brzeziny, taking over a significant portion of its warehousing and distribution processes.
