Valad signs record lease with Auchan
POLAND Valad Europe has finalised seven leases with French hypermarket chain Auchan and one lease with Auchan-affiliated company Schiever Polska – a total of 170,000 sqm from assets in the Valad Polish Retail Fund (VPRF) and the largest Polish retail letting so far this year.

Bolshevik turns into Cosmopolite
UKRAINE Bolshevik, one of the largest shopping centres in Kyiv, has changed its name to Cosmopolite. According to the Ukrainian Retail Association, the goal was to distance itself from communist symbolism. The name-change took place on June 21st.
