UK-based investor to open 50 gyms in Poland
POLAND CityFit, a new 24/7 fitness club chain created specifically for the Polish market by a London-based private equity fund, has launched its first, 1,500 sqm gym. The company plans on opening 50 variously-sized clubs in a total investment of PLN 100 mln over the next three years.

Carrefour to spend next ten years in Galeria Gniezno
POLAND French grocer Carrefour has extended its 4,450-sqm lease contract with Galeria Gniezno for the next ten years. The nine-year-old Galeria Gniezno building, which belongs to the investment fund Standard Life Investments, offers 17,000 sqm of retail space.
