Retail park to be built in Żory
POLAND A retail park is to be built on Al. Zjednoczonej Euroy in Żory. ZRB Kampka is the investor behind the 5,000 sqm project.
New tenants in Karuzela retail park
POLAND New leases have been signed for a combined 3,000 sqm in the Karuzela retail park in Lubliniec. The new tenants include Biedronka (1,200 sqm), RTV Euro AGD (502 sqm), CCC (400 sqm) and Centrum Chińskie (910 sqm).

POLAND In April the Galeria Mazovia shopping centre in Płock saw a 9 pct increase in the turnover of its tenants on the previous year, while for May turnover was up by 11 pct.
Results improve for Czerwona Torebka
POLAND Czerwona Torebka recorded revenue of PLN 18 mln in the first quarter of the year, representing a 45.6 pct increase on the same period of 2012.

POLAND Spanish fashion chain Mango has signed an 800 sqm lease with Apsys in the Łacina shopping centre in Poznań.

RUSSIA Russia could overtake the UK to become the second-largest shopping centre market in Europe after France in the next 12 to18 months, according to the ‘European Shopping Centre Development 2013’ report by Cushman & Wakefield.

Ferio to be extended
POLAND The extension work on the Ferio shopping centre in Stare Miasto near Konin has begun. The centre, which belongs to Rockspring Property Investment Managers, is to increase in size by 2,500 sqm to a leasable area of 16,000 sqm.
Wzgórze to become Riviera
POLAND The Wzgórze shopping centre in Gdynia is to be renamed Riviera. Mayland Real Estate is the developer of the centre, which is currently being extended.
Abra continues expansion
POLAND The Abra furniture chain is planning to open over six stores in the second half of 2013.
Dantex plans Grochów project
POLAND Dantex is planning to build app. 400 apartments on ul. Grochowska in Warsaw. The Rondo Wiatraczna project is to be built on the site of the Uniwersam Grochów shopping centre.

Building permit finalised for IKEA
POLAND Inter IKEA Centre Group Poland has received the final building permit for a shopping centre in Lublin. Construction work is to start on the 80,000 sqm centre on al. Spółdzielczości Pracy in July.

RUSSIA Fashion House Outlet Centre Moscow, which is being developed by GVA Sawyer, has received its occupancy permit. Fashion House Outlet Centre Moscow is on Leningradskoye shosse.
