Galeria Wisła tenants stay put
POLAND Galeria Wisła in Płock, which is owned by Caelum Development, underwent a recommercialisation process throughout 2012, since the leases of 37 of its tenants expired after the first five years of the centre’s operations.
JLL predicts more retail this year
POLAND In 2012, the Polish shopping centre market expanded by 374,000 sqm to reach over 7.94 mln sqm at the end of the year, according to Jones Lang LaSalle. This represents the lowest increase in retail stock since 2004.
Karuzela to be built in Wodzisław Śląski before year end

ROMANIA The Penny Market XXL chain of supermarkets, owned by the Rewe Group, has been re-launched as XXL Mega Discount.
Bershka and Stradivarius in Europa Centralna
POLAND Two Inditex group brands– Bershka and Stradivarius – have leased stores in the Europa Centralna shopping centre.
RE Project Development starts a new project
POLAND Ferio Wawer is the name of a new proposed shopping centre to be developed by RE Project Development. The centre is to be located at the junction of ul. Szpotańskiego and ul. Żegańska in Warsaw’s Wawer district.
H&M in Nowy Sącz to grow
POLAND The H&M clothing chain in Galeria Sandecja in Nowy Sącz is to increase in size by 600 sqm to more than 1,600 sqm.
Galeria Warmińska strengthens its tenant mix

Enel-Med in Warsaw’s shopping centre
