POLAND Panattoni Europe has started the development of its first logistics project in Zabrze. Panattoni Park Zabrze will include three buildings with a total of 64,200 sqm of space.

POLAND The amnount of warehouse space currently under construction amounts to 2.16 mln sqm, according to Cresa Poland’s “Occupier Insight Q1 2019 “ report. This is the country’s record for projects under construction.

Rhenus starts archiving near Warsaw

POLAND Rhenus Data Office has signed a seven-year lease agreement for 3,400 sqm of warehouse space in the Hillwood Janki Sokołów logistics centre. Rhenus was represented in the negotiations by JLL.

Brökelmann to build Opole factory

POLAND Brökelmann is building an aluminium and steel processing plant with 18,500 sqm of warehouse and production space. The completion of construction is planned for the beginning of December this year. The project is being managed and supervised by Axi Immo.

Panattoni plans Silesian joint venture

POLAND PG Europe from Luxembourg, JRR Investments and Sidus Investments from Poznań are planning to build a logistics centre in Silesia and the companies have submitted an application to the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection for approval to set up a joint venture.

Space2Design and Exeter Property Group plan Świebodzin park

POLAND Space2Design, which is a subsidiary of SpaceFactory, has designed a logistics park for Exeter Property Group, which is to be constructed in Świebodzin next to the the S3 expressway.

Demand still high for warehouses in Q1

POLAND The total warehouse space take-up (excluding short-term contracts) in Poland amounted to 800,000 sqm in Q1, down from the record 1.1 mln sqm in the first quarter of 2018 and from the 855,000 sqm registered in Q1 2017. This was still, however, the third highest ever figure for the first quarter, says JLL.
