POLAND A new building for the Academy of Fine Arts has been topped out on the Wybrzeże Kościuszkowskie embankment in Warsaw.

The PLN 54.4 mln project is being co-financed by the EU and the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. The JEMS Architekci architectural studio is responsible for the design of the 7,000 sqm building, while the general contractor is a consortium of Dorbud and Przedsiębiorstwo Budowlano-Usługowe Interbud West. The work should be completed in the second half of this year.
