POLAND Beata Kijowska and Marek Myszk, board members at the Park Handlowy Wołomin company, Paweł Solis, the president of the Wołomin District Council, and Ryszard Madziar, the mayor of Wolomin, have laid the foundation stone for the Fabryka Wołomin shopping centre, which is being developed at ul. Geodetów 2 in the town outside Warsaw’s northeastern outskirts.
The mall is to be built on the site of a former wood products factory. “The project, located near the Wołomin-Słoneczna railway station, is to become a place for meetings and everyday shopping for the almost 250,000 residents of Wołomin, Radzymin and neighbouring communities, which include Duczek, Czarna, Zagościniec, Klembów and Tłuszcz.
