Real estate worth EUR 10 bln to be built

POLAND The development pipeline of top 30 developers in Poland comes to 230 office, retail, warehouse and hotel projects with an estimated investment cost of EUR 10 bln, accoridng to the ‘Property developers in Poland 2019-2023’ report by Spectis.
Property developers’ portfolios are split into roughly equal halves of projects under construction and projects in the planning phase. Therefore, no serious downturn in investment activity in the commercial construction segment is expected. A typical property development project, regardless of stage has an estimated value of EUR 40 mln. Office projects have the highest value (EUR 70 mln), while retail, hotel or warehouse developments are valued significantly lower (less than EUR 30 mln).
