Develia has bought land at ul. Orląt Lwowskich in Wrocław. The developer plans to develop a dormitory with around 600 rooms and two service units on it. Develia acquired the property from the Puro Hotels financial group for PLN 40.6 mln.

Towards the end of last year, Estonian-based investment company Summus Capital expanded out of the Baltics to make its first acquisitions in Poland: the React office building Łódź (15,000 sqm – sold for EUR 32.5 mln) and the Lakeside office complex in Warsaw (23,834 sqm, EUR 61.9 mln). The Silverton Group has agreed to a long-term lease of around 950 sqm of office space in the property near Düsseldorf to Gel Express Logistik. The office building at Otto-Hahn-Strasse in Meerbusch provides a total lettable area of around 3,100 sqm.

Garbe has formed a strategic partnership with Sidra Capital, a Middle Eastern investment manager with a global portfolio. The joint venture’s objective is the acquisition of light industrial and logistics real estate in Germany within the framework of sale-and-leaseback transactions.

The 13th JLL Real Estate Beach Volleyball Charity Tournament, which took place earlier this month, has raised over PLN 800,000 to build the third Ronald McDonald House at a paediatric hospital in Poland.
This year's edition of the JLL Charity Beach Volleyball Tournament will take place on 1 August at the Monta Beach Volley Club in Warsaw. Funds raised during the event will for the second time be used to support the construction of the Ronald McDonald House at the Children's Memorial Health Institute.
As part of the ' Across the Wola district for Autism' charity city game organised by Cushman & Wakefield, real estate companies managed to collect PLN 82,700. The funds will go to the Synapsis Foundation to support the diagnosis and therapy of children and young people on the autism spectrum. "Eurobuild" was a media patron of the event.
