Certifications were awarded to five properties: Homepark Targówek Domoteka, Homepark Targówek Stripmall, Homepark Franowo in Poznań, Homepark Rawa in Katowice, and Homepark Janki. Four were awarded ratings of Excellent scores for both their management (Part 1) and building operations (Part 2). At Homepark Janki, Part 1 was rated Very Good while Part 2 was rated Excellent.

The certification encompassed a wide range of activities, such as implementing a BREEAM compliant environmental policy, improving maintenance systems, conducting energy audits, reporting energy and water consumption, signing green lease agreements, and improving the comfort of building occupants. Considerable emphasis was also placed on issues related to the buildings' resilience to climate change, biodiversity, and resource management.

Certifying such a large and diverse portfolio was an ambitious undertaking, requiring a coherent approach with close collaboration with the owner. This is an important step towards raising environmental and market standards in the retail segment.
Izabela Stankiewicz-Łabaszewska of BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland

The certification was made possible through close collaboration between the British fund Pradera, the property manager, BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland, and advisors from JWA.

We consistently focus on solutions that genuinely support tenants, increase energy efficiency, improve occupant comfort, and contribute to the achievement of environmental goals. For us, this is a key element in building portfolio value and investing responsibly.
Agata Brzezińska, head of asset management CEE at Pradera

Implementing the requirements for a rating of Excellent in older buildings, even those that are of high quality, is a significant challenge. This is a success for all our teams and proof that systematically and effectively raising sustainable development standards is possible in the retail sector.
Jerzy Wójcik, CEO of JWA.
