ROMANIA In July 2012, 3,856 building permits for residential buildings were issued, representing a decrease of 1.8 pct on the previous month and a 0.7 pct decrease on the same period of the previous year.

According to figures from INS, Romania’s statistical office, over the first seven months of the year 22,073 permits were issued for residential buildings – a 3.3 pct decrease on the same period of the previous year.
